Probate and Trusts
When a loved one dies you need their estate to be dealt with sympathetically and swiftly.
· If there is a Will, a Grant of Probate may be required.
· If the Will included a trust, advice may be needed upon its implementation, administration, or termination and the tax consequences.
· If there is no Will, Letters of Administration are required and the process can be more complicated as long lost relatives may have to be traced.
· Sometimes it may be possible to enter into a Deed of Family Arrangement after death, which can reduce Inheritance Tax now or in the future.
Orme and Slade have many years of experience in providing professional and sympathetic support at this difficult time.
